Cheley Camps and student leaders have a rich history.  As far back as 1955, student council leaders have been coming to Cheley Camps to develop their leadership skills.  The first few years, Cheley hosted student council leaders from the Denver Public Schools and then the National Student Leadership Camps (NSLC) developed and used Cheley Camps as one of their locations.  Throughout the years, the Cheley program has been one of the strongest programs in the country and has continued to succeed.  Each summer in mid-August, student leaders from around the country come to Estes Park and Cheley Camps for our conference to become better leaders.

In 2005, the National Student Leadership Camps stopped offering their program to student council leaders.  Cheley has missed having the opportunity to share our property with these leaders the past few summers.  Over the past three years, we have been working with Teresa Huggins to create a magical experience to impact student leaders from around the country.  After the program was canceled in 2005, we continued to receive emails from past participants asking for us to create a program.  We are excited with the curriculum we have created and the energy that is being committed to creating powerful student leaders.

Come join us while we create new traditions and new memories as we take what has been built and make it even better.
